Job Purpose
The Analyst, Credit Support – Premium is responsible for supporting the Manager: Relationship Premium in managing and maintaining a credit portfolio within the Business and Commercial Banking segment. The role focuses on credit analysis, financial assessment, risk evaluation, and client relationship support to ensure sound lending decisions and effective portfolio management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Credit Analysis and Risk Assessment

Conduct detailed financial and credit analysis of client applications.

Assess creditworthiness and risk profiles of business clients.

Prepare credit reports and recommendations for approval.
-
Monitor and review credit portfolios to identify potential risks.
2. Portfolio Management Support

Assist the Relationship Manager in managing the day-to-day activities of the credit portfolio.

Ensure credit facilities are monitored and maintained in line with bank policies.

Support portfolio reviews and client credit reassessments.
3. Compliance and Regulatory Requirements

Ensure compliance with banking regulations, policies, and procedures.

Perform customer acceptance and review processes.

Ensure adherence to FAIS regulatory requirements where applicable.
4. Client and Relationship Support

Work closely with Relationship Managers to support business client relationships.

Provide financial insights to support lending decisions.

Assist in identifying opportunities for business development and portfolio growth.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in:

Business Commerce

Finance

Accounting
-
Related field
-
Certifications
-
FAIS Representative certification (preferred or required depending on role responsibilities).
Experience
-
5 – 7 years experience in a similar credit analysis or credit support role.

Proven ability to perform financial analysis and credit assessments.

Experience operating under delegated lending authority.

Experience in Business and Commercial Banking environments.

Knowledge of banking products, policies, and processes.

Business development experience is an advantage.
