    Job Description

    The Free State Department of Health is offering a Graduate Internship opportunity for a Data Analyst at the Medical Depot in Bloemfontein.

    The internship provides an opportunity for a suitably qualified graduate to gain practical workplace experience and apply their academic knowledge in a public-sector environment. The successful intern will perform duties related to their field of study under the guidance of an assigned mentor.

    Minimum Requirements

    Applicants must:

    • Be South African citizens.
    • Have completed Grade 12.
    • Hold an undergraduate tertiary qualification relevant to the field of study.
    • Possess an NQF Level 6 National Diploma or NQF Level 7/8 Degree in an appropriate field.
    • Must not have previously completed a 24-month internship programme.

    Preference will be given to historically disadvantaged individuals.

    Key Duties

    • Carry out duties relevant to the intern’s field of study.
    • Gain practical workplace experience in a professional environment.
    • Complete assigned tasks in accordance with internship requirements.
    • Attend the funded Personal Mastery Course applicable to Public Service Graduate Interns.
