Job Description
The Free State Department of Health is offering five graduate internship opportunities in Quantity Surveying, Architecture and Building Construction.
The programme is designed to provide graduates with practical workplace experience relevant to their field of study. Interns will work under the guidance of a mentor and perform tasks related to their qualifications.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be South African citizens.
- Have completed Grade 12.
- Hold an undergraduate tertiary qualification relevant to the advertised fields of study.
- Have an NQF Level 6 National Diploma or NQF Level 7/8 Degree in an appropriate field.
- Interns who have already completed a 24-month internship programme may not apply.
Preference will be given to historically disadvantaged individuals.

- Quantity Surveying
- Architecture
- Building Construction
- Other appropriately related qualifications

Key Duties
- Perform basic tasks assigned by the mentor.
- Carry out duties relevant to the intern’s field of study.
- Gain practical workplace experience under appropriate supervision.
- Complete tasks and responsibilities in accordance with programme requirements.
- Attend the funded Personal Mastery Course applicable to Public Service Graduate Interns.
