Job Overview
The Admin Assistant/Cashier will be responsible for managing internal administration while performing cashier and point-of-sale duties. The successful candidate will help maintain accurate financial and administrative records, provide excellent customer service and support the smooth operation of the retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Maintaining high standards of administration.
- Assisting with the audit process.
- Managing and controlling bank and petty cash.
- Processing Goods Received Vouchers and completing invoices.
- Processing stock claims.
- Minimising risks to the company.
- Providing professional client service.
- Performing other job-related administrative duties.
- Handling pay-point sales.
- Continuously providing a high standard of customer service.
- Marketing VKB products.
- Resolving customer problems and queries within the authorised mandate.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Grade 12 or NQF Level 4.
- Experience in the agriculture industry will be advantageous.
- Good numerical ability.
- Computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- A thorough, precise and accurate approach to work.
- A willingness to continuously add value to the functions of the position.
