Job Description
You will:
- Oversee contracts and supplier agreements
- Manage risks in procurement and supply chain
- Ensure the organisation follows laws and regulations
- Lead a team and improve supply chain performance
Key Responsibilities
Contract Management
- Manage contracts from start to finish
- Ensure all agreements follow policies and laws
- Track renewals, penalties, and performance
Risk Management
- Identify supply chain risks
- Prevent financial losses and irregular spending
- Monitor and report risks
Supplier Management
- Evaluate supplier performance
- Ensure suppliers meet standards (KPIs)
- Improve supplier relationships
Compliance & Audit
- Ensure compliance with:
- Public Finance Management Act (PFMA)
- Treasury regulations
- Support audits and fix findings
Leadership
- Manage and guide staff
- Work with stakeholders across departments
- Improve teamwork and communication
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) in:
- Supply Chain Management
- Finance
- Law or related field
- 5–8 years experience in:
- Contract management
- SCM compliance/risk
- At least 3 years in management/supervisory role
- Valid driver’s license
