Handyman Job Description
This role is critical in maintaining the operational efficiency of the QPro Feeds facility. The Handyman will focus on general maintenance tasks to ensure the factory’s building and surrounding areas meet required standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct general repairs and maintenance within the plant.
- Perform tasks such as painting, fixing doors and locks, and repairing door hinges.
- Inspect and address maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
- Perform ad hoc handyman tasks as required.
Requirements
- Education: Grade 12 certificate.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in handyman tasks, with preference given to those who have worked in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with plant safety regulations and building maintenance procedures.
