Driver/Messenger

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent qualification.

Valid Driver’s Licence with Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
Key Duties and Responsibilities
The Driver/Messenger will be responsible for:
Transport and Delivery Services
-
Collecting and delivering documents both internally and externally.
-
Collecting and delivering mail to and from the Post Office.

Transporting departmental employees as required.
-
Collecting and delivering office equipment and supplies safely and efficiently.
Vehicle Care and Maintenance
-
Performing routine maintenance on the allocated vehicle and reporting any defects promptly.

Conducting daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle remains in optimal condition.

Completing all required records and logbooks accurately, including trip details and goods handled.
