Responsibilities:
Manage daily operations of the sports department
Set high standards in conduct, attendance, and dress
Foster strong relationships with learners, staff, and parents
Promote a positive, team-oriented department culture
Stay updated on coaching practices and plan ahead
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism
Uphold school values and standards through sport
Coordinate and participate in school sporting activities
Build partnerships with other schools and the community
Ensure compliance with school policies and procedures
Mentor and develop coaching staff
Contribute to the broader values and ethos of the school
Qualifications:
Recognised qualification in a relevant field
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
Current SACE registration
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent organisational and administrative abilities
Effective sports practitioner with good communication skills
Ability to solve problems and provide professional guidance
A clear criminal record
