Tender Overview
The Department of Water and Sanitation is inviting tenders from suitably qualified contractors for the supply, delivery of materials and labour for corrosion protection, repainting of the hall roof at the Vaal Dam Office, and replacement of beams and ceiling.
The project aims to improve the structural integrity, durability and overall condition of the facility.
Scope of Work
The successful contractor will be responsible for:
- Supplying all required materials and labour.
- Providing corrosion protection treatment for the existing roof and structural elements.
- Repainting the hall roof using approved, durable and weather-resistant materials.
- Replacing damaged or required beams.
- Replacing the ceiling as specified.
- Ensuring all work complies with the required technical specifications.
- Maintaining high standards of safety, quality and workmanship.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum CIDB contractor grading of 1GB or higher.
- Experience in:
- Corrosion protection.
- Roofing work.
- Structural repairs.
- Painting and refurbishment.
- Ability to supply and install materials according to the tender specifications.
- Access to suitably qualified and experienced personnel.
- Capacity to manage and complete the required construction works.
