Minimum Requirements
To qualify for this position, applicants must meet the following requirements:
Educational Qualification:
- Grade 12 or an equivalent qualification as recognized by SAQA
Additional Requirements:
- The ability to provide administrative support by ordering and managing HAST (HIV, AIDS, and TB) equipment in liaison with the Supply Chain Component
Knowledge and Skills:
- Computer literacy and ability to use administrative systems
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Knowledge of clerical duties and practices, including data capturing
- Understanding of public service legislative frameworks
- Familiarity with health facility procedures and data collection processes
Key Responsibilities
As an Admin Clerk at the Thabo Mofutsanyane District Office, your primary duties will include:
Data Management and Analysis
- Collect, capture, and analyze health-related data
- Oversee records management at health facilities
- Ensure uniform data collection tools are used across health facilities
- Create audit profiles and monitor data quality
- Provide ICT support to healthcare facilities
Training and Support
- Train healthcare workers on proper information management
- Conduct on-site data quality audits
Clerical and Administrative Duties
- Offer clerical support services for the department
- Manage personnel administration and clerical duties
- Perform reception and patient registration tasks
- Maintain proper patient records and filing systems
Data Validation and Security
- Capture and validate health data across all required systems
- Review data and provide data quality validation reports
- Secure all confidential information related to health records
Reporting and Compliance
- Prepare and submit facility data reports
- Support the Ideal Clinic processes at health facilities
- Assist in the implementation of the one-patient, one-file strategy
- Ensure compliance with clinical records management policies
