The Unemployed Learnership: Human Resources is a structured development opportunity within the People and Culture function at Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa. The learnership is designed to equip unemployed individuals living with disabilities with foundational business administration and human resources skills through a combination of theoretical learning and practical workplace experience.
Based in Bloemfontein, the programme focuses on completing an NQF Level 3 Business Administration qualification while providing hands-on administrative support to the HR department. Learners gain exposure to day-to-day HR operations, develop professional workplace skills, and support business activities during peak periods and staff absences.
The learnership runs over a 12-month period and is aimed at building employability, workplace readiness, and long-term career opportunities within HR and administrative environments, in line with CCBSA’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Complete the NQF Level 3 Business Administration Learnership Programme
Provide administrative support to the HR department throughout the year
Assist during peak business periods and when teams are on leave
Participate in structured theoretical training and on-the-job learning
Support HR processes and general office administration as required
Skills and Experience
Proficiency in English and at least one other South African language
Minimum of 1 year work experience (advantageous)
Self-motivated and results driven
Well-organised with strong attention to detail
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a flexible and pressurised environment
No criminal record or adverse credit record
Not enrolled in formal full-time studies
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 with Mathematics or Mathematics Literacy (minimum 40% pass rate)
South African citizen
Employment Equity candidate (people with disabilities only)
Aged between 18 and 35 years
Must be unemployed at the time of appointment
Two South African languages passed at a minimum of 40%
Must not have previously completed the same NQF Level 3 Business Administration learnership
Must provide a valid doctor’s note confirming disability (with practice number)
Additional Information
Learnership duration: 12 months
Learners must commit to attending classes and completing the full programme
Candidates must reside in or near Bloemfontein or be willing to travel
A stipend will be offered in line with SETA requirements
