    Duties and Responsibilities

    As an intern, your key responsibilities will include:

    • Assisting in the development of e-assessment activities, including the creation of question banks and scheduling e-assessments on UFS’s online platforms.
    • Supporting the development of training material for objective assessments to help students and academic staff navigate online evaluations.
    • Providing student and staff support in the use of UFS’s online assessment platform, ensuring smooth functionality and accessibility.
    • Helping to collect, analyze, and report data on digital assessment activities to improve teaching and learning processes.
    • Assisting in the preparation, implementation, and evaluation of training sessions for students and faculty members.

    Requirements and Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements

    • A Bachelor’s degree or B-Tech degree (NQF Level 7) in a relevant field.
    • Applicants must not be currently enrolled in another internship or learnership program.
    • No previous formal work experience required.
    • Willingness to sign a learnership or internship agreement with UFS.
    • Availability for the entire duration of the one-year internship.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • A postgraduate qualification.
    • Previous experience as a Student Assistant, Tutor, EduTech Buddy, or Teaching Assistant.
    • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or online assessment platforms.
