    The Team Leader, Universal Banking will manage a team of Universal Bankers at designated Points of Representation (PORs), ensuring exceptional client experiences, compliance with product standards, and achievement of sales and service objectives. This role involves leading, motivating, and supporting front-line staff while ensuring adherence to banking processes and procedures.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead and oversee a team of Universal Bankers to meet sales, service, and compliance targets.

    • Ensure client satisfaction through quality service delivery.

    • Implement and monitor banking processes and procedures.

    • Support staff development and performance management.

    • Collaborate with other departments to enhance branch operations.

    Qualifications:

    • NQF Level 5 qualification (FAIS aligned).

    • 3–4 years’ front-line banking experience, preferably in Personal & Private Banking.

    • Strong knowledge of branch operations and interdepartmental functions.

    Skills and Competencies:

    • Behavioural: Adopting practical approaches, articulating information, challenging ideas, convincing people, exploring possibilities.

    • Technical: Banking process & procedures, client acceptance & review, product knowledge, application & submission verification, processing.
