Responsibilities

Manage a production shift from raw maize intake to finished product.

Operate milling equipment at design capacity and maintain optimal technical performance.

Ensure products meet customer specifications and minimize wastage.

Achieve required extraction rates and milling gain.

Maintain food safety and health & safety standards per FSSC 22000 and OHS Act.
-
Manage and develop an efficient, well-disciplined workforce.
-
Monitor raw maize quality and conditioning.

Oversee housekeeping and adherence to product specifications.
Qualifications
-
Qualified Maize Miller with the Grain Milling Federation.
-
Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Miller in a maize mill.

Good understanding of LRA, OHS Act, and Food Safety regulations.

Knowledge of pest control, fumigation, and FMCG food safety requirements.

Proficient in Excel and Outlook.

Strong knowledge of maize milling equipment and routine maintenance.
