    Key Responsibilities

    Talent Acquisition

    • Manage the full recruitment process, including job advertising, application tracking, screening, interview coordination, and reference/qualification checks.

    • Conduct proactive headhunting for specialised positions.

    • Keep accurate candidate records and ensure all recruitment processes comply with UFS policies and procedures.

    • Arrange travel and accommodation for senior-level recruitment processes.

    • Prepare monthly recruitment reports.

    Stakeholder Management

    • Maintain strong communication with candidates, providing timely updates and feedback.

    • Partner with line managers and HR business partners to ensure hiring needs are met.

    • Conduct service reviews to improve recruitment services.

    Compliance

    • Ensure all recruitment activities comply with University policies, procedures, and ethical codes.

    • Escalate non-compliance where necessary.

    Qualifications & Experience

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree or Advanced Diploma/BTech/Postgraduate Certificate (NQF Level 7) in Human Resources or related field.

    • At least 1 year of relevant experience in recruitment and selection.

    Recommendations:

    • Understanding of HR best practices.

    • Experience in a higher education environment.

    • Knowledge of university systems and policies.

    Skills & Competencies

    • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

    • Ability to work collaboratively and maintain high energy levels.

    Salary & Benefits

    • Annual package: R388 426,59 – R487 479,38 (depending on experience, qualifications, and budget).
