    Responsibilities:

    Research Integrity:

    • Promote responsible conduct of research and raise awareness on research misconduct.

    • Develop and implement policies on research integrity.

    • Investigate allegations of research misconduct and manage related inquiries.

    • Maintain a database to track and report misconduct cases.

    • Provide training and support for high-level institutional committees.

    • Manage policy revisions and ensure compliance with research integrity norms and standards.

    Data Analysis:

    • Perform statistical analysis and create data visualisations.

    • Maintain and optimise research-related databases.

    • Conduct data quality checks and merge datasets.

    • Prepare reports and present findings to inform strategic decisions.

    Qualifications:

    • Honours degree (NQF Level 8) in Administrative Law, Bioethics, Applied Ethics, Management Studies, Higher Education Studies, or Project Management.

    • Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience.

    Recommendations:

    • 3+ years in research management.

    • Recognition as a research management professional.

    • Experience in research ethics/integrity investigations in higher education.

    • Data analysis skills and proficiency in research databases like Scival.

    • Advanced Excel skills.
