Responsibilities:
Research Integrity:

Promote responsible conduct of research and raise awareness on research misconduct.

Develop and implement policies on research integrity.

Investigate allegations of research misconduct and manage related inquiries.

Maintain a database to track and report misconduct cases.

Provide training and support for high-level institutional committees.

Manage policy revisions and ensure compliance with research integrity norms and standards.
Data Analysis:

Perform statistical analysis and create data visualisations.

Maintain and optimise research-related databases.

Conduct data quality checks and merge datasets.

Prepare reports and present findings to inform strategic decisions.
Qualifications:
-
Honours degree (NQF Level 8) in Administrative Law, Bioethics, Applied Ethics, Management Studies, Higher Education Studies, or Project Management.

Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience.
Recommendations:
-
3+ years in research management.

Recognition as a research management professional.

Experience in research ethics/integrity investigations in higher education.

Data analysis skills and proficiency in research databases like Scival.

Advanced Excel skills.
