Scope of Work
- Supply & Delivery:
- Exterior heavy-duty wooden doors – 20 units
- Complete mortice lock sets – 30 units
- Wooden door hinges – 40 units
- Heavy-duty butterfly (weld) hinges – 50 units
- Delivery to Maluti-a-Phofung Water offices
- Compliance with procurement policies, technical specifications, and socio-economic goals
Technical Requirements
- Durable, heavy-duty wooden doors suitable for exterior use
- Complete mortice lock sets compatible with doors
- Hinges capable of supporting heavy-duty doors
- Heavy-duty butterfly hinges with weld capability
- All items must meet quality, safety, and durability standards
- Delivery must be within the stipulated timeframe
Skills & Compliance Requirements
Bidders must demonstrate:
- CSD registration with valid summary report
- CIDB Grading: 1 GB (General Building) or higher
- Tax compliance and municipal rates clearance (not in arrears >3 months)
- Capability to supply specified quantities of doors, lock sets, and hinges
- Adherence to municipal procurement policies and socio-economic goals (HDI, youth, women ownership)
- Experience in supply chain management and delivery of similar hardware items
- Submission of company registration, B-BBEE certificate, and proper documentation
- Skills in communication, safety adherence, and meeting delivery deadlines
