Tender Objectives
- Supply and deliver flood lights, metal saddles, screws, drills, and related materials
- Procure equipment and services to support water infrastructure and maintenance activities
- Enhance safety, reliability, and operational efficiency across Maluti-a-Phofung Water facilities
Scope of Work
- Supply & Delivery:
- Flood lights (240V AC, 250W)
- Metal saddles (25mm)
- Fischer screws (6mm) and concrete drills (6mm)
- Wooden doors, lock sets, hinges, bolts, washers, raw bolts, grease
- Submersible borehole pumps, motors, control boxes
- Installation & Maintenance:
- Slip-resistant tiles, damaged roofing repair, ceiling board installation
- Boom gates installation, other maintenance activities
- Training & Services:
- Internet setup, occupational health and safety training, other related services
- Locations: Phuthaditjhaba, Makwane Water Treatment Plants, and other sites within Maluti-a-Phofung and Thabo Mofutsanyana regions
Technical Requirements
- Equipment must meet specifications listed in tender documents
- Adherence to safety, quality, and municipal standards during installation and delivery
- Completion of all work within the stipulated contract period with proper documentation
Skills & Compliance Requirements
Bidders must demonstrate:
- CSD Registration with valid summary report
- CIDB Grading: 1 GB (General Building) or higher
- Tax compliance and municipal rates clearance (non-arrears > 3 months)
- Capability to provide quality products and services with skilled personnel
- Knowledge of water infrastructure standards, safety regulations, and municipal procurement policies
- Experience in executing similar projects in the water sector or municipal environment
- Submission of company registration certificate, B-BBEE certificate, and detailed project proposals
