Tender Objective
ACSA is seeking a suitably qualified service provider for the supply, installation, commissioning, decommissioning and disposal of audio and video conferencing equipment.
The requirement covers the O.R. Tambo International Airport Media Centre, O.R. Tambo International Airport Emergency Command Centre and various meeting rooms at other ACSA airports for a period of 24 months.
Scope of Work
The successful service provider will be responsible for:
- Supplying audio and video conferencing equipment.
- Installing and configuring conferencing systems.
- Commissioning newly installed equipment.
- Decommissioning existing equipment where required.
- Disposing of decommissioned equipment in accordance with applicable requirements.
- Providing technical support and maintenance during the contract period.
- Supporting conferencing facilities across various ACSA airport locations.
- Ensuring installed systems are operational and fit for their intended purpose.

The project includes conferencing facilities at:
- O.R. Tambo International Airport Media Centre
- O.R. Tambo International Airport Emergency Command Centre
- Various ACSA airport meeting rooms and facilities nationally.
Locations identified in the tender include Bloemfontein, Cape Town, East London, George, Gqeberha, Johannesburg, Kempton Park, Kimberley, La Mercy and Upington.
Service Provider Requirements
Bidders should have the capability to:
- Supply appropriate audio and video conferencing technology.
- Carry out professional equipment installation and configuration.
- Commission and test conferencing systems.
- Decommission and safely dispose of obsolete equipment.
- Provide ongoing maintenance and technical support.
- Service multiple airport locations.
- Manage equipment and support requirements throughout the 24-month contract.
