Tender Overview
SASSA Bloemfontein invites qualified and registered mechanical contractors to supply, deliver, and install air conditioning units at the Koffiefontein Local Office.
The purpose of this project is to ensure the office environment is adequately climate-controlled to support staff operations and service delivery to the public.
Only contractors with a CIDB grading of 1ME or higher are eligible to submit bids.
Tender Description
The successful bidder will be responsible for:
1. Supply of Air Conditioners
Provision of air conditioning units suitable for office use
Units compliant with relevant safety and energy standards
Appropriate cooling capacity for office space requirements
2. Delivery
Delivery of air conditioning units to the specified site
Safe handling and transportation of equipment
3. Installation
Professional installation of units
Electrical connections and mounting
Testing and commissioning
Ensuring full operational functionality
Compliance with safety standards
Technical Requirements
Bidders must:
Hold a valid CIDB 1ME or higher
Supply SANS-compliant air conditioning units
Ensure proper installation according to HVAC standards
Provide workmanship guarantees
Comply with all tender documentation requirements
Skills & Experience Requirements
