Tender Overview
Mantsopa Local Municipality invites quotations for the rental lease of one (01) wet excavator for a period of 10 days to be utilized at the Ladybrand Landfill Site.
The rental must include:

A qualified operator/driver

Transport to and from site

Availability during weekdays, weekends, and public holidays
The objective is to ensure efficient excavation and landfill management operations during the specified period.
Tender Description
The successful bidder will be responsible for:
1. Equipment Supply
-
Provision of one (01) fully functional wet excavator
-
Suitable for landfill and heavy-duty excavation operations
-
Mechanically sound and site-ready
2. Rental Period
-
Duration: 10 days
-
Equipment must be available for:
-
Weekdays
-
Weekends
-
Public holidays
-
3. Operator Requirement
-
Supply of a qualified and certified operator/driver

Operator must be experienced in landfill or municipal environments
-
Contractor responsible for operator wages and compliance
4. Transport & Logistics

Transport of excavator to and from Ladybrand Landfill Site

All transport costs must be included in the quotation

Delivery timeframe must be clearly stated in the quotation
Technical Requirements
The excavator must:

Be a wet excavator

Be provided with a competent operator

Be capable of operating in landfill conditions

Remain operational throughout the 10-day period
Important Conditions:

No payment will be made for:

Standing time due to rain

Mechanical breakdowns

Bidder must comply with all municipal technical and administrative requirements
Mandatory Compliance Requirements
Bidders must submit:

Completed MBD 6.1

Proof of registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD)

CSD report or certified copies of IDs

Municipal Rates & Taxes account (not in arrears for more than 3 months)

Confirmation of compliance with municipal service charge requirements
Failure to submit required documents may lead to disqualification.
Skills & Experience Requirements
