Job Overview
Rivingo Trading Pty Ltd is seeking a reliable and physically capable Assistant Driver to support daily transportation and delivery operations. The successful candidate will assist the main driver with loading and unloading goods, ensuring accurate deliveries, maintaining vehicle safety standards, and providing professional customer service.
This role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to handle physically demanding tasks while maintaining high safety and service standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in loading and unloading products or equipment manually or using tools such as hand trucks and pallet jacks.

Organize and secure cargo properly to ensure safe transportation.

Help the driver navigate routes and locate delivery destinations to prevent delays.

Inspect goods before loading and after delivery to verify quality and quantity.

Report any damaged or missing items to supervisors.

Perform routine vehicle safety checks (fluids, tires, lights, and safety equipment).

Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including receipts and customer signatures.

Communicate with warehouse and dispatch teams regarding delivery updates or route changes.

Address customer questions or concerns professionally to ensure satisfaction.

Maintain cleanliness of the delivery vehicle and work environment.

Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:

Physical ability to lift and move heavy items (50–70 lbs).
