Job Description / Scope of Work
The successful bidder will be responsible for the supply and delivery of 9,400 square metres of grey 80mm interlocking paving blocks to the Bultfontein Technical Department Offices.
The paving blocks must comply with the technical and quality specifications contained in the official tender documentation. The bidder must also have the capacity, equipment and resources necessary to fulfil the order within the specified timeframe.
Responsibilities
The appointed supplier will be responsible for:
- Supplying 9,400m² of grey 80mm interlocking paving blocks.
- Ensuring the paving blocks meet the required quality and technical specifications.
- Transporting the paving blocks to the Bultfontein Technical Department Offices.
- Delivering the required quantity within the agreed timeframe.
- Providing all required supporting documentation.
- Ensuring appropriate equipment and resources are available for delivery.
- Complying with applicable Occupational Health and Safety requirements.
- Following the municipality’s approved Supply Chain Management requirements.
- Ensuring the paving blocks supplied correspond with the specifications in the tender documentation.
Requirements
Bidders should demonstrate:
- Experience in supplying and delivering similar paving or construction materials.
- Evidence of previous similar projects and client references.
- A suitable work methodology and project implementation plan.
- Clear proposed delivery timeframes.
- Availability of appropriate equipment required for the supply and delivery.
- Proof of equipment ownership or an intention/arrangement to provide the required equipment.
- Qualified key personnel with relevant experience where required.
- Financial stability and capacity to execute the contract.
- Relevant financial references and evidence of previous financial performance.
- Ability to meet the required quantity, quality and delivery timeframe.
