Description
The National Health Laboratory Service is inviting suppliers to submit quotations for the supply and delivery of one high-quality ergonomic office chair for the Chemical Pathology Department at Universitas, Bloemfontein. The chair must be suitable for prolonged computer-based work and meet specified ergonomic and postural support requirements.
Responsibilities / Scope of Work
The successful supplier will be responsible for:
- Supplying one ergonomic office chair that complies with the specified requirements.
- Delivering the chair to the Chemical Pathology Department at Universitas, Bloemfontein.
- Covering all associated transportation, handling and packaging costs.
- Accounting for applicable taxes and administrative costs.
- Ensuring delivery follows the purchaser’s prescribed schedule.
- Supplying the goods only after an official purchase order has been issued.
- Providing a completed compliance specification sheet.
- Referencing relevant catalogue or brochure pages for the proposed chair.
- Providing unedited photographs of the exact model being offered.
Requirements / Specifications
The ergonomic chair must include the following mandatory features:
- Adjustable seat.
- Adjustable armrests.
- Adjustable headrest.
- Pivot lumbar support system.
- Contoured frame designed to follow the natural S-curve of the spine.
- Adequate lower-back support.
- Extended recline functionality for non-keyboard activities.
- Design that allows the user’s feet to remain flat on the floor.
- Ability to maintain approximately 90-degree angles at the ankles, knees and hips.
- Adjustability to position the work surface at elbow height.
- Provision for direct frontal screen placement.
- Completed compliance specification documentation.
- Relevant catalogue/brochure references.
- Unedited photographs of the exact chair model offered.
Supplier Requirements
Suppliers should have the commercial and logistical capability to:
- Prepare an accurate quotation.
- Provide reliable delivery.
- Comply with statutory and procurement documentation requirements.
- Submit all mandatory documentation required in the RFQ.
- Provide a valid Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN/certificate.
- Be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD).
Evaluation
