Cashbuild is seeking an experienced and business-focused Store Manager to lead one of its key retail operations. The Store Manager is responsible for driving profitable market share, ensuring operational excellence, managing staff, and maintaining compliance with company and legislative standards. This role requires strong leadership, retail management expertise, and the ability to guide a high-performing team while delivering exceptional customer service.
Job Description
The Store Manager will oversee all aspects of store operations, including sales growth, customer satisfaction, stock management, asset control, HR processes, safety compliance, and implementation of the Store and Divisional strategy. The role demands a hands-on leader who is results-oriented, organised, adaptable under pressure, and capable of maintaining high-performance standards across the store.
Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 / Matric

3 years retail management experience, OR 5 years related retail experience

Strong business acumen
-
Ability to work under pressure

Basic computer literacy

Strong leadership and administrative skills

Own transport (preferable) + valid driver’s licence

Own cell phone

Sound knowledge of Health & Safety (OHSA and relevant legislation)

Key Performance Areas
1. Strategic Management

Develop and implement a strategic store plan aligned with divisional objectives.

Execute and update store business plans as required.
2. Grow & Protect Market Share

Conduct daily floor walks.

Manage ordering, receiving, damages, slow-moving and excess stock.

9. Safety (OHSA) Compliance

Ensure full compliance with OHSA and relevant legislation.

Investigate and report OHSA incidents.
