    Job Description

    As a Trainee Manager, you will assist the Store Manager in driving daily store operations, managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and achieving sales targets. You will help maintain stock accuracy, uphold store visual standards, and motivate team members to deliver exceptional retail experiences. This role serves as a developmental position, preparing you to eventually take full responsibility for managing a store.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations.

    • Lead and motivate staff to achieve sales and customer service targets.

    • Ensure world-class customer service and resolve queries effectively.

    • Assist with stock management, including stock take preparation and execution.

    • Maintain store standards, housekeeping, and visual merchandising.

    • Drive performance by meeting sales targets and operational KPIs.

    • Uphold company values, discipline, and policies among staff.

    • Demonstrate a sense of urgency and attention to detail in all tasks.

    • Contribute to a positive, energetic work environment.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Matric / Grade 12

    • Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Assistant Manager or Store Manager

    • Proven track record of strong stock take results

    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams

    • Results-driven and target-focused

    • Excellent customer service abilities

    • Exceptional people and interpersonal skills

    • Strong attention to detail

    • Sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure
