Tender Overview
The Department of Public Works invites suitably qualified service providers to submit quotations for the servicing of four (4) HS6040ds X-ray machines located at the reception area.
Scope of Work
The successful contractor will be required to:
- Service four HS6040ds X-ray machines.
- Replace the required 12V 7.5Ah batteries.
- Restore the machines to fully operational condition.
- Conduct testing to verify functionality and safety.
- Supply materials in accordance with manufacturer specifications and applicable standards.
- Provide a three-month workmanship guarantee for completed work and spare parts.
Payment will be based on verified materials actually used, with proof of purchase required.
Key Requirements
- Electrical work must be performed by a qualified Installation Electrician.
- Mechanical work must be performed by a qualified Artisan or Tradesman.
- Contractor must have relevant experience on similar projects.
- Active Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration is required.
- Valid B-BBEE documentation must be submitted.
- Required health and safety documentation must be provided.
- Key personnel must provide relevant qualifications, CVs and professional registration documentation where applicable.
- Contractors must comply with Public Works requirements, applicable legislation, safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Adequate insurance and confidentiality measures are required.
- Full subcontracting of the scope is not permitted.
