Tender Overview
The Department of Mineral and Petroleum Resources (DMPR) invites qualified service providers to submit quotations for the branding of the Welkom Regional Office building. The successful bidder will be responsible for designing, producing, and installing branding elements that enhance the visibility and corporate identity of the building while complying with the department’s branding standards.
Tender Objective
The objective of this RFQ is to appoint a competent service provider to:
- Brand the Welkom Regional Office building.
- Improve the building’s visibility and corporate identity.
- Deliver high-quality branding solutions that comply with departmental standards.
- Complete the project within the required timeframe and quality specifications.
Scope of Work
The successful service provider will be responsible for:
Branding Services
- Design and install branding elements on the building.
- Brand exterior and/or interior areas as specified.
- Supply all materials, equipment, and labour required for the project.
- Ensure branding complies with departmental corporate identity guidelines.
Project Management
- Coordinate the project from planning through to completion.
- Manage installation schedules and resources.
- Conduct quality assurance throughout the project.
- Perform a final inspection to ensure compliance with specifications.
Technical Requirements
The successful bidder must:
- Provide durable, weather-resistant branding materials.
- Use high-quality products that comply with safety and environmental standards.
- Adhere to approved departmental branding designs and specifications.
- Comply with all relevant building regulations and safety requirements.
- Demonstrate previous experience with similar branding and signage projects.
Minimum Requirements
Interested service providers should demonstrate:
- Proven experience in building branding and signage projects.
- Experience with graphic design and corporate branding installations.
- Technical expertise in applying branding materials to different building surfaces.
- Strong project management and coordination skills.
- Ability to deliver quality work within agreed deadlines and budgets.
- Knowledge of occupational health, safety, and environmental requirements.
Required Supporting Documents
Bidders must submit:
- Completed quotation.
- SBD 4 – Declaration of Interest.
- SBD 6.1 – Preference Point Claim Form.
- Supporting documents for any specific goals claimed (failure to submit proof will result in no preference points being awarded).
- Valid Tax Compliance Status (Tax Pin).
- Any additional documentation required in Annexure A and Annexure B.
