Tender Overview
Eskom is inviting property owners and authorised property agents to submit expressions of interest for the outright sale of an industrial property in Bultfontein, Free State. The property will be used as the Free State Operating Unit office and must include suitable office and workshop facilities, sufficient land, and parking while meeting Eskom’s operational and legal requirements.
Tender Objective
The objective of this tender is to identify and acquire a suitable industrial property that:
- Accommodates Eskom’s operational office and workshop requirements.
- Provides adequate space for administrative and operational activities.
- Is legally compliant and available for immediate purchase.
- Meets Eskom’s property, infrastructure, and accessibility requirements.
Scope of Work
The successful respondent must provide an industrial property that includes:
- A minimum of 2,500 m² of office space.
- A minimum of 3,000 m² of workshop space.
- Approximately 4,500 m² of vacant land.
- At least 15 parking bays.
- A combined land and building area not exceeding one hectare.
- Property located within the industrial area of Bultfontein.
- Property approved for office and industrial use.
- Property available for outright purchase with clear legal ownership.
Property Requirements
The offered property should:
- Be suitable for immediate occupation.
- Present a professional and well-maintained appearance.
- Have fully functional plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Be free from major structural defects.
- Be free from environmental or nuisance issues such as excessive traffic or nearby sewage facilities.
- Have approved municipal building plans and “as-built” drawings.
- Comply with all municipal planning and zoning requirements.
