Project Objective
SANParks intends to appoint a qualified contractor to renovate staff housing at Golden Gate Highlands National Park. The project aims to improve the living conditions, structural integrity, and overall appearance of staff accommodation units.
Scope of Work
The successful contractor will undertake renovation works on various staff residences, including:
- Technical Manager’s House
- F&B Manager’s House
- Section Ranger’s House
- Park Manager’s House
- Finance Manager’s House
- Conservation Manager’s House
Flooring Works
- Remove existing carpets.
- Supply and install new floor tiles.
- Install tile skirting.
- Grout and finish tiled surfaces.
Painting Works
- Repair wall and ceiling cracks.
- Prepare surfaces for painting.
- Apply premium mould-resistant and biocidal paint.
- Paint interior and exterior walls.
- Paint ceilings and other specified surfaces.
Roofing Works
- Repair roof leaks.
- Prepare roof surfaces.
- Apply approved roof coatings.
- Paint roofs using specified products and colours (e.g., Heritage Green).
Moisture and Drainage Control
- Construct drainage channels.
