Sasol, a global leader in chemicals and energy, is seeking an experienced Foreman to lead engineering maintenance processes within its mining operations. This role will support Sasol’s commitment to excellence and innovation, playing a key role in meeting production targets within the principles of Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, and Morale (QCDSM).
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Grade 12/N3 with Maths, Physical Science, and English.
- Trade Test Certificate: Electrical or Electro Mechanic.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years in a relevant field.
- Certificates: Flameproof and Gas Testing.
- License: Valid Motor Vehicle Driver’s License.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute engineering and maintenance strategies to meet KPI targets.
- Ensure optimal equipment availability and manage downtime effectively.
- Implement engineering SOPs, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
- Conduct condition monitoring and root cause analysis for equipment failures.
- Support safety and continuous improvement initiatives to achieve Zero Harm.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and development within the team.
