    • Salary / Remuneration (2025 Rates): Hourly rate based on qualifications and academic rank:

    • Junior Lecturer: R278/hour

    • Lecturer: R341/hour

    • Senior Lecturer: R417/hour

    • Associate Professor / Professor: R571/hour

    Main Purpose of the Job:

    To develop academic content and lecture allocated subjects within the Faculty of Management Sciences, while contributing to community engagement initiatives and supporting institutional objectives through teaching, research, and administration.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Teaching, learning, and assessment

    • Student evaluation and support

    • Academic research

    • Academic administration

    • Subject planning and coordination

    • Participation in community service projects

    Subject Fields (Lecturing Areas):

    Applicants should be able to lecture in one or more of the following:

    • Accounting for Non-Accountants

    • Mathematics for Accountancy

    • Management and Evaluating Marketing Finance

    • Financial Management and Investments

    • Risk Management (CIA – 4th year level)

    • Internal Auditing (CIA – 4th year level)

    Lecturers must be available to teach during scheduled daytime or evening hours on the Bloemfontein campus.

    Teaching Format:

    • Lectures may be delivered face-to-face, remotely, or via hybrid methods

    • Format subject to change at short notice

    • Lecturers must provide their own laptop/computer equipment

    Minimum Requirements:

    • A relevant BTech / Honours, Master’s, or Doctoral degree, depending on the subject level

    • Previous lecturing experience is an advantage

    • Experience using Blackboard or other e-learning platforms is recommended
