Lecturer: R341/hour
Senior Lecturer: R417/hour

Department of Accounting and Auditing
Main Purpose of the Job:
To develop academic content and lecture allocated subjects within the Faculty of Management Sciences, while contributing to community engagement initiatives and supporting institutional objectives through teaching, research, and administration.
Key Responsibilities:
Teaching, learning, and assessment
Student evaluation and support
Academic research
Academic administration
Subject planning and coordination
Participation in community service projects
Subject Fields (Lecturing Areas):
Applicants should be able to lecture in one or more of the following:
Accounting for Non-Accountants
Mathematics for Accountancy
Management and Evaluating Marketing Finance
Financial Management and Investments
Risk Management (CIA – 4th year level)
Internal Auditing (CIA – 4th year level)
Lecturers must be available to teach during scheduled daytime or evening hours on the Bloemfontein campus.
Teaching Format:
Lectures may be delivered face-to-face, remotely, or via hybrid methods
Format subject to change at short notice
Lecturers must provide their own laptop/computer equipment
Minimum Requirements:
A relevant BTech / Honours, Master’s, or Doctoral degree, depending on the subject level
Previous lecturing experience is an advantage
Experience using Blackboard or other e-learning platforms is recommended
