- Salary / Remuneration (2025 Rates): Hourly rate based on qualifications and experience:
Junior Lecturer: R278 per hour
Lecturer: R341 per hour
Senior Lecturer: R417 per hour
Associate Professor / Professor: R571 per hour

Main Purpose of the Job:
To develop academic material and lecture in allocated subjects for relevant programmes, while contributing to community engagement initiatives in line with CUT’s academic and institutional goals.

Subjects / Fields of Specialisation:
Applicants should be able to teach one or more of the following:
Diploma in Management
Introduction to Business Functions
Introduction to Virtual Working
Supply Chain Management
Quality Assurance and Management
Introduction to Smart Working Technologies
Procurement Management
Risk Management
Design Thinking
Global Entrepreneurship
Business Continuity Management
Note: All lecturers must be available to teach during daytime hours.
Format of Teaching:
Face-to-face, remote, or hybrid delivery formats
Subject to change on short notice
Lecturers are required to have their own laptop
Must be available for scheduled class hours, including possible daytime or evening work
Minimum Requirements:
A relevant BTech / Honours, Master’s, or Doctoral degree (depending on the subject level)
Previous lecturing experience (advantageous)
Experience using Blackboard or similar electronic education platforms (recommended)
