Job Purpose:
Join a multinational leader in the poultry industry as a Technical Advisor / Parent Breeder Manager, responsible for supporting poultry breeding programs and offering expert guidance to clients and internal teams. Ideal for candidates with a background or passion in animal science, nutrition, or poultry health.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical support and advice on bird health, nutrition, and genetics

Oversee breeding programs and ensure compliance with animal welfare standards

Analyze flock performance and data

Support sales teams and customers with insights and solutions

Ensure adherence to breeding standards and technical best practices

Communicate effectively with internal teams and clients
Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum Requirements:
-
BSc in Agriculture, Animal Science, Biology, or Animal Nutrition

Specialization in poultry science is highly advantageous

1+ year of experience OR newly qualified graduates with a passion for poultry
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-
Fluent in Afrikaans and English (both must be first languages)

Valid driver’s license

Willingness to travel and work remotely
