Job Purpose:
As an OUTsurance Broker, you will be responsible for building a personal and commercial short-term insurance portfolio by prospecting new clients, managing relationships, and closing face-to-face sales. This role suits a self-starter with strong sales acumen and entrepreneurial drive.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospect and secure new clients (cold calling, lead generation, referrals)
Sell short-term insurance (personal and commercial lines)
Build and manage a growing client portfolio
Work independently to meet and exceed sales targets
Collaborate with sales support and the wider Commercial team
Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum Requirements:
Matric / National Senior Certificate
Own reliable vehicle with uninterrupted access
Valid driver’s license (Code B)
3+ years face-to-face external sales experience
Experience in cold calling, lead generation, and client relationship management
If FAIS-registered (non-negotiable):
FAIS Credits / Full Insurance Qualification
RE5 Certificate
(Dependent on your Date of First Appointment – DOFA)
