    Job Purpose:

    The Project Coordinator will oversee and manage projects related to the manufacturing and delivery of transformers and miniature substations. The role ensures timely execution, compliance with quality standards, and effective coordination between departments, suppliers, and clients.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Project Planning & Coordination:

    • Develop project timelines and manage transformer/substation project workflows

    • Coordinate across engineering, production, procurement, and quality departments

    • Track schedules and ensure deadlines are consistently met

    • Maintain project documentation (HSE, test results, route surveys, payment milestones, delivery notes)

    Stakeholder Management:

    • Act as liaison between clients, suppliers, and internal teams

    • Communicate project progress, milestones, and risks

    • Update stakeholders regularly on project tracking

    Procurement & Inventory:

    • Work with procurement to source materials and components

    • Monitor inventory to avoid production delays

    • Issue early warnings or delay notifications if needed

    Quality & Compliance:

    • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations

    • Support QA processes to uphold manufacturing standards

    • Share documentation with relevant teams

    Risk Management & Problem-Solving:

    • Identify project risks and apply mitigation strategies

    • Resolve issues during production, testing, or delivery

    Reporting & Documentation:

    • Maintain detailed records of progress, costs, issues

    • Submit management reports on key project milestones

    • Capture lessons learned for continuous improvement

    Logistics & Delivery:

    • Oversee dispatch and delivery schedules

    • Coordinate with logistics teams to avoid transport delays

    Additional Duties:

    • Perform ad hoc tasks beyond formal job description

    • Collaborate closely with the internal project team for weekly planning

    • Role will initially be more internally focused, with less direct client interaction

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Relevant technical or engineering qualification (not specified but implied based on manufacturing environment)

    • Experience in project coordination within manufacturing or engineering sectors is advantageous

    • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
