Job Overview
Eskom is seeking two Team Leaders to support the Supervisor in overseeing regulating activities at Scaffel Substation in the Free State. The role focuses on assisting with the coordination of construction activities to ensure that contract objectives are achieved in terms of time, cost, quality, environmental compliance, and health and safety standards.
The successful candidate will provide on-site leadership, ensure proper resource allocation, and maintain compliance with SHEQ and regulatory requirements.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Supervisor in overseeing regulating activities on site
Assess job priorities and allocate employees to appropriate tasks
Provide clear direction to workers to ensure daily targets are achieved
Take responsibility for plant, equipment, and materials
Inform the Supervisor of required plant, tools, and equipment
Ensure tools and equipment are available and in good working condition
Support compliance with Safety, Health, and Environmental requirements
Provide daily feedback to the Supervisor on progress and challenges
Complete and submit required documentation accurately and on time
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
Grade 12 or equivalent
Valid Driver’s Licence
ORHVS certification
Experience
Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience leading regulating activities on substations
