Job Purpose
The Store Manager is responsible for optimising sales performance and exceeding customer expectations through effective implementation of operational strategies and strong staff management.
The role requires leadership, operational excellence, and strong retail management skills to ensure the store consistently meets performance targets and brand standards.
Key Responsibilities

Represent and act as custodian of the store’s brand

Drive sales performance and achieve business targets

Lead, motivate, and influence the store team

Implement operational strategies effectively

Manage merchandising, stock, and cost control

Maintain high store standards and customer service excellence

Develop team members and support continuous staff growth

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Minimum Requirements
-
Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent
-
Minimum 2 years retail experience
-
At least 1 year in a supervisory or management role
-

Strong merchandise management, stock control, and cost control skills

Proven leadership and team influence ability
-
High energy and self-motivated
-
Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal)

Competency in a second official language (advantageous)

Retail or business-related qualifications (advantageous)
