    Purpose of the Role

    The Stock Administrator plays a key role in ensuring accurate and efficient handling, distribution, and record-keeping of medical equipment and consignment stock. The role supports internal warehouse operations and external field teams (sales consultants), ensuring all inventory movements are correctly processed and compliant with healthcare logistics standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Stock & Logistics Management
    • Receive, handle, and distribute consignment and purchased stock.

    • Process and record all stock movements accurately on Syspro and Qwix.

    • Manage inter-branch transfers, urgent dispatches, and overnight deliveries.

    • Ensure goods are correctly packaged, labeled, and documented.

    • Support Sales Consultants with consignment discrepancies and hospital stock checks.

    • Assist in picking, scanning, and packing stock after-hours when needed.

    Vehicle & Delivery Operations

    • Conduct regular vehicle inspections (tyres, oil, water, etc.) to ensure roadworthiness.

    • Keep vehicles clean and compliant with all documentation (license discs, etc.).

    • Ensure all deliveries are made safely, on time, and with accurate Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation.

    • Report mechanical issues or incidents immediately.

    Administrative & Compliance Duties

    • Maintain accurate records and logs (fuel receipts, travel logs, stock registers).

    • Adhere to all internal systems, policies, and safety procedures.

    • Support the warehouse and admin team during busy periods.

    • Renew licenses and update documentation timeously.

    Customer Interaction & Professionalism

    • Communicate professionally with healthcare clients and sales teams.

    • Represent the company’s professional image through appearance and service.

    • Ensure excellent customer experience during deliveries and interactions.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Matric / Grade 12 (minimum requirement)
    •  OR at least 2 years of relevant logistics or warehouse experience
    • Valid driver’s licence (essential)
    •  Experience in a medical / hospital / healthcare environment (advantageous)
    •  Familiarity with Syspro and Qwix (favourable)
    •  Strong communication and coordination skills
    •  Physically fit with good eyesight and stamina (for loading/unloading tasks)
