Job Description
The Regional Marketing Consultant is responsible for executing and implementing national distribution marketing strategies at regional level. The position provides marketing support to regional business operations, contributes to business growth, coordinates marketing initiatives and assists with campaigns, events, sponsorships and worksite marketing activities.
The role also involves market and competitor research, stakeholder engagement, campaign performance monitoring and budget and expense management.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and support marketing campaigns developed by the Head: Go-2-Market.
- Assist the Regional Business Manager with customised regional marketing plans and strategies.
- Provide focused regional marketing support to drive business growth.
- Assist with conferences, marketing sponsorships and corporate social investment projects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to provide worksite and key-account marketing support.
- Execute campaigns for smaller regional worksites and key accounts.
- Conduct ongoing market and competitor research.
- Network and prospect to identify new business and marketing opportunities.
- Gather feedback on projects, campaigns, plans and sponsorships.
- Monitor and report on return on investment (ROI).
- Provide ongoing marketing support, including marketing materials and branding for national events.
- Assist with regional marketing activities and initiatives.
- Manage budgets and expenses under the oversight of the Head: Go-2-Market.
Minimum Requirements
Qualification and Experience
- Degree in Marketing, Commerce or Business.
- Experience within a financial distribution business in a sales or marketing role.
