Job Overview:
NCRS (Pty) Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Quality Inspector & Supervisor to oversee and manage the quality assurance and control processes within its construction and solar projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality management systems, technical inspections, and leadership. This role is critical in ensuring that all products, processes, and systems meet both customer expectations and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct routine maintenance checks and inspections
Perform visual inspections and dimensional measurements of products
Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, and quality findings
Identify product defects and non-conformities, and communicate findings to management
Prepare and present detailed quality reports
Oversee the full quality control process and ensure adherence to ISO and internal standards
Develop and implement continuous improvement plans for quality processes
Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining high product and service standards
Train and guide quality inspectors on quality standards, tools, and procedures
Collaborate with project and departmental teams to resolve quality-related issues
Lead, manage, and assign tasks to quality inspection staff to ensure performance consistency
Minimum Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Quality Management or related field
5+ years of experience in quality assurance/control, preferably in construction or solar industry
Certifications such as CQI, ISO 9001 are advantageous
Strong knowledge of quality inspection tools, standards, and technical drawings
Proficiency in quality management software and Microsoft Office
Valid Driver’s License and willingness to travel
