     Role Purpose

    The Project Coordinator plays a key role in planning, executing, and monitoring projects within the transformer and substation manufacturing process.
    You will coordinate between departments, suppliers, and clients to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and meeting quality standards.

     Key Responsibilities

    1. Project Planning & Coordination

    • Develop and maintain detailed project plans and timelines.

    • Coordinate with engineering, production, procurement, and quality teams.

    • Track progress to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met.

    • Maintain project documentation — e.g., HSE records, Route Surveys, Test Results, Payment Milestones, Delivery Notes, etc.

    2. Stakeholder Management

    • Act as a liaison between clients, suppliers, and internal teams.

    • Communicate project status, risks, and milestones to stakeholders.

    • Translate customer requirements into actionable tasks for production.

    • Provide regular project updates to management and clients.

    3. Procurement & Inventory Coordination

    • Collaborate with procurement to ensure timely material availability.

    • Track and manage inventory levels to prevent production delays.

    • Proactively identify and address potential supply chain delays.

    4. Quality & Compliance

    • Ensure adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and policies.

    • Support quality assurance during manufacturing and testing phases.

    • Share relevant compliance and quality documents with stakeholders.

    5. Risk Management & Problem-Solving

    • Identify and mitigate project risks.

    • Troubleshoot and resolve production, testing, or delivery issues.

    6. Documentation & Reporting

    • Keep detailed records of project progress, costs, and challenges.

    • Prepare management reports highlighting progress, risks, and lessons learned.

    7. Logistics & Delivery

    • Oversee dispatch and delivery of finished transformers/substations.

    • Work with logistics teams to ensure on-time client deliveries.

    8. General/Other

    • Assist in weekly planning with the project team.

    • Perform additional duties as needed.

    • Initially focus on internal coordination rather than direct client interaction.

     Candidate Profile

    An ideal candidate should have:

    • Strong organizational, coordination, and communication skills.

    • Good understanding of manufacturing workflows and engineering documentation.

    • Ability to work under pressure and across multiple departments.

    • Attention to detail and proactive problem-solving ability.

    • Experience in project or production coordination, ideally in electrical or heavy manufacturing.
