Are you passionate about helping people feel good? Clicks Group is offering an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Manager at its Clicks Dihlabeng branch. The successful candidate will lead the dispensary and clinic teams to deliver excellent patient care, service quality, and compliance standards — driving overall store performance.
Job Purpose
To ensure the efficient operation of the dispensary and clinic, delivering high standards of pharmaceutical care and service excellence, while meeting sales and compliance targets to maintain Clicks’ competitive advantage.
Key Objectives & Responsibilities
Pharmaceutical Care
-
Deliver high standards of professional, accurate, and safe dispensing.

Ensure compliance with SAPC regulations and Good Pharmacy Practice (GPP).

Provide effective patient advice and promote generic substitution where appropriate.
Operational Management
-
Manage and control dispensary operations including stock, shrinkage, and housekeeping.

Maintain administration and merchandising standards in line with company policies.

Ensure legal and ethical compliance in all pharmacy practices.
Financial & Business Management
-
Ensure the operational and financial viability of the dispensary.

Manage budgets, control expenses, and achieve core dispensary and clinic targets.

Take proactive action to maintain profitability and sustainability.
People Leadership
-
Lead, mentor, and develop pharmacists, assistants, interns, and learners.

Ensure appropriate scheduling, attendance tracking, and HR compliance.

Foster a motivated, capable team that meets current and future business needs.
Customer Experience

Drive customer service initiatives to create an excellent shopping experience.

Promote customer loyalty and Clicks ClubCard participation.

Integrate the dispensary with the clinic and healthcare aisles for a full-service offering.

Promote cohesion between store operations, clinic, and pharmacy teams.

Education & Experience Requirements
-
Registered Pharmacist with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) – Essential
-
Minimum 2 years’ experience post community service – Essential
-
Minimum 1 year People Management experience – Essential
-
Registered as the Responsible Pharmacist (SAPC) – Essential
-
Retail pharmacy experience – Desirable
-
Unisolv system experience – Desirable
