    Job Purpose:

    To teach and assess undergraduate modules in the School of Accountancy, focusing on Organisational Ethics and Citizenship, Auditing, and Accounting Information Systems, while contributing to curriculum development and student success.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate, teach, and assess modules at the undergraduate level.

    • Develop student digital acumen and graduate attributes.

    • Align curriculum content with SAICA’s AGA and CA of the Future Competency Framework.

    • Support pedagogical innovation and academic excellence.

    • Perform administrative duties within the school.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Master’s degree in Accountancy (NQF Level 9),
      OR
      Chartered Accountant (SA) with a relevant NQF Level 8 qualification.

    • A good academic record (proof required).

    Recommended (Not Compulsory):

    • Recent lecturing experience in higher education.

    • Practical experience in the accountancy field.

    • Proficiency in Xero accounting software.

    • Experience presenting at academic conferences.

    • Published research in accredited journals.

    • Membership of a professional or scholarly body.
