Position Summary:
The Community Advisor provides exceptional customer service while supporting the growth and profitability of FNB’s client base. This role focuses on understanding customer needs, managing accounts, cross-selling products, and ensuring compliance with bank policies and governance standards. The ideal candidate is client-focused, proactive, and results-driven, with strong financial knowledge and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Relationship Management:
Deliver prompt and professional service to customers, addressing their needs efficiently.
Build and maintain strong client relationships to enhance customer loyalty.
Manage the migration of accounts from transactional to Self Service channels.
Sales & Profitability:
Drive net profit growth through account management and cross-selling opportunities.
Track and influence sales activities to achieve predetermined sales targets.
Increase the active customer account base and strengthen client engagement.
Administration & Compliance:
Provide efficient administrative support through accurate planning, reporting, and record-keeping.
Ensure compliance with governance, legislative, and audit requirements.
Monitor transactions and ensure new business applications are processed within timelines.
Adhere to internal procedures and the “Golden Rules” of FNB operations.
Personal Development:
Continuously develop skills and competencies to enhance personal and professional performance.
Qualifications & Experience:
Degree in Finance (essential).
1–3 years’ relevant experience in banking, finance, or customer service roles.
