Job Description
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting office operations and assisting clients with administrative and policy-related matters.
The role involves managing client interactions, handling documentation, supporting advisers, and ensuring efficient workflow within the office.
Key Responsibilities
Administration
Filing, scanning, and typing correspondence
General office administration
Preparing and maintaining client files
Client Service
Answering telephone calls and assisting walk-in clients
Managing and resolving client queries
Providing support on policies and procedures
Operational Support
Preparing renewals and following up on claims
Scheduling appointments and managing adviser diaries
Maintaining CRM systems and asset registers
Proactive planning for upcoming tasks and deadlines
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 (Matric)
2–3 years’ experience in Short-Term Insurance within financial services
Proficient in English and at least one other official South African language
Computer literacy (MS Office)
Advantageous:
RE5 certification
NQF4/5 in Short-Term Insurance
