     Job Description

    The Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting office operations and assisting clients with administrative and policy-related matters.

    The role involves managing client interactions, handling documentation, supporting advisers, and ensuring efficient workflow within the office.

     Key Responsibilities

    Administration

    • Filing, scanning, and typing correspondence

    • General office administration

    • Preparing and maintaining client files

    Client Service

    • Answering telephone calls and assisting walk-in clients

    • Managing and resolving client queries

    • Providing support on policies and procedures

    Operational Support

    • Preparing renewals and following up on claims

    • Scheduling appointments and managing adviser diaries

    • Maintaining CRM systems and asset registers

    • Proactive planning for upcoming tasks and deadlines

     Minimum Requirements

    • Grade 12 (Matric)

    • 2–3 years’ experience in Short-Term Insurance within financial services

    • Proficient in English and at least one other official South African language
