Programme Overview:
The Absa Fellowship Programme is a prestigious and transformative initiative that goes beyond traditional academic scholarships. Designed to empower and develop South Africa’s next generation of leaders, entrepreneurs, and innovators, the programme supports young students with not only financial aid but also leadership training, mentorship, and personal development opportunities.

Eligibility Criteria:
Age: Between 18 and 25 years old
Academic Achievement: Minimum 65% average (June 2025 results or final matric results)
Study Start Year: Must be enrolling as a first-year undergraduate student in 2026
University Type: Must attend a public university in South Africa

Commerce
Humanities and Social Sciences
Science (including Health Science, but excluding Medicine or Veterinary Science)
Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM)
Creative Arts

Important: The application must be submitted by the prospective student only — not by a parent or guardian.
Application Process:
Phase 1: Pre-screening
Applicants are assessed for eligibility criteria.
Phase 2: Psychometric Assessment
Eligible applicants receive a voucher code to complete the assessment via email.
Phase 3: Shortlisting
Applicants are shortlisted based on their psychometric assessment results.
Phase 4: Interviews
Shortlisted candidates are invited to an interview before final selection.

Programme is open to all eligible South African students, regardless of Absa employment
