Job overview:
As a Sales Associate, you’ll be responsible for converting showroom visitors into paying customers by demonstrating products, meeting sales targets, and delivering an excellent customer experience from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Interaction & Sales:
Greet and assist customers in a professional, friendly manner
Demonstrate products and highlight features/benefits
Open customer accounts and process orders efficiently
Meet and exceed sales targets
Handle payments, refunds, and credits
Product Knowledge & Store Presentation:
Stay up to date with pricing, offers, and product features
Maintain clean, organized store environment
Manage stock levels and replenishment
Ensure accurate stock checks and inventory management
Admin & Reporting:
Complete all required documentation and reporting
Ensure sales records and customer data are up to date
Contribute feedback for improving store processes
Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12 / Matric (Compulsory)
At least 1 year of retail sales experience
Willing and able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
Experience in homewares retail is a plus
