Job Overview:
As a Sambassador, you’ll represent Smollan’s products and services in-store, focusing on customer engagement, inventory management, and sales growth, especially within forecourts (petrol station retail spaces).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Experience Management

Register and vet customers

Manage the rental and return process of equipment

Collect customer feedback and drive service improvements
-
Ensure equipment is properly stored, tracked, and maintained
2. Inventory Management
-
Monitor stock levels and device charging
-
Maintain proper tracking and upkeep of equipment
3. Compliance & Brand Standards
-
Ensure HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, Environment) compliance

Escalate non-compliance issues
-
Report on performance, challenges, and site issues

Offer customer-driven insights
4. Administration & Reporting

Capture daily, weekly, and monthly reports

Respond to complaints and queries
-
Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
Minimum Requirements:
Qualifications:

Matric (Grade 12)
Experience:
-
2–3 years in a sales or retail environment

Sales & marketing knowledge

Strong customer service skills

Admin and communication skills

MS Office proficiency
-
Basic knowledge of renewable energy (advantageous)
