    Job Description

    Fidelity Services Group is seeking a Regional Security Manager to oversee regional operations across the Northern Cape and Free State, based in Bloemfontein.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring operational accuracy, compliance and efficiency across the region. The role involves managing incidents and investigations, addressing discrepancies, supporting audits, maintaining client satisfaction and engaging with internal and external stakeholders.

    The position requires a hands-on and adaptable individual who can work effectively under pressure, manage people, handle sensitive investigations and travel to branches and clients when required.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee and manage regional operations.
    • Report irregularities to management.
    • Ensure incident reports are accurate, complete and handled appropriately.
    • Communicate with clients regarding incidents and queries and provide regular feedback.
    • Handle queries, incidents and initial investigation reports.
    • Prioritise client satisfaction by resolving queries professionally and timeously.
    • Ensure daily reports and statistics are completed and correctly filed.
    • Download and securely save relevant video footage relating to incidents.
    • Advise management of flaws identified in teller processing.
    • Investigate variances relating to client deposits and client queries.
    • Maintain proper records of all investigations.
    • Assist with regional audits.
    • Assist with regional appointments and payroll.
    • Respond to internal and external stakeholder emails.
    • Review and improve operational processes and procedures.
    • Travel to branches at short notice when emergencies arise.
    • Engage with senior management at Head Office when required.
    • Plan and assist with training within the region.
    • Travel to and assist branches outside the region when required.
    • Consolidate information required from branches within the region.
    • Engage with Industrial Relations and Human Resources.
    • Investigate, prepare for, represent and present Fidelity at disciplinary enquiries.
    • Conduct client visits when required.
    • Perform other reasonable duties or instructions issued by the General Manager.

    Requirements

    • Matric / Grade 12.
    • Registered Grade C PSIRA Certificate.
    • Industry experience.
    • Exceptional computer literacy, particularly in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
    • Excellent people management skills.
    • Excellent time management skills.
    • Own reliable transport.
    • Valid driver’s licence.
    • Willingness to travel extensively.
    • Clear criminal record.
    • Ability to function effectively in a stressful environment with daily operational challenges.
